Growing up with four brothers and living in New York City with her three sons and husband, Lucinda Scala Quinn has spent much of her time feeding the men and boys in her life and teaching them how to feed themselves. A believer that food, security and love are entwined in the meals we cook and serve our family and friends, Lucinda got her start cooking professionally at an early age and has worked as a chef, cooking teacher, caterer, and food writer.
Lucinda is currently Senior Vice President and Executive Editorial Director of Food and Entertaining for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia; co-host of PBS’s #1 cooking show, Everyday Food; and host of EatDrink on Martha Stewart Living Radio on SIRIUS channel 112 and XM Radio 157. Lucinda appears regularly on CBS’ Early Show, NBC’s Today Show and “The Martha Stewart Show.” She has also authored three books including her most recent title, Mad Hungry: Feeding Men and Boys (released October 2009).
